BC Interior Adjusted Service Levels – Effective Week of May 4th


During this time, Direct Tap will be modifying the Northern BC and Kootenays / Columbia Valley delivery routes to reflect the demand in those areas and the distance required to travel to deliver there.


All licensees in those areas will receive their orders as per the usual schedule the week of April 20th.


Starting the week of April 27th, Northern BC and Kootenays / Columbia Valley will be on alternating weeks for delivery service.


Northern BC Route
Northern BC will be serviced the week of April 20th.
The next service dates will be April 27 & 28, May 11 & 12  and every other week until further notice.

Vancouver Island Adjusted Service Levels – Effective Week of April 13th


Direct Tap is continuing to adapt to the current volume of deliveries and adjusted service levels and resources available to the company.

As order volumes begin to flatten out or decrease, in order to most effectively service private and government liquor store channels, Direct Tap will be making the following changes to their delivery schedule for Vancouver Island beginning this week.

  • Comox
  • Cumberland
  • Campbell River
  • Victoria



Order cutoff remains 2pm the day prior to the scheduled delivery day.

Due to current delivery volumes, the below areas will be on an alternating bi-weekly schedule

  • Campbell River
  • Courtenay
  • Comox
  • Cumberland


Exceptions to the above are the following locations that will continue to receive weekly deliveries.

  • Cascadia – Crown Isle – Courtenay
  • Northern Vancouver Island & Gulf Islands via Coastal Transportation and Storage
  • Thrifty’s Liquor Store – Courtenay
  • Liquor Plus – Courtenay


Campbell River will receive deliveries the week of April 13th & every other week
Courtenay, Comox and Cumberland will receive deliveries the week of April 20th & every other week.


Tofino and Ucluelet will remain on a bi-weekly schedule until further notice.

Direct Tap will be closed for the Good Friday Statutory Holiday, Friday April 10th


After careful deliberation and consideration, Direct Tap has decided to close operations for Good Friday to allow our team members to spend additional time with their families in these unprecedented times.


Updates to regularly scheduled Friday Deliveries:

  • All Lower Mainland Friday scheduled deliveries will only get one delivery day next week (Tuesday or Wednesday) and no deliveries will be made on Friday, April 10th.
  • Vancouver Island deliveries that are scheduled for Friday will receive their deliveries earlier in the week, with the exception of Saltspring Island. No deliveries will be made to Saltspring Island the week of April 6 – 10.
  • Kelowna and West Kelowna WILL receive deliveries as regularly scheduled Friday, April 10th.


All Direct Tap Distribution Centers will be closed for pickups and receiving Friday, April 10th.


To ensure all orders are completed this week, Direct Tap recommends having orders in by Monday, April 6th at 2pm.

March 20, 2020 – BC Interior Delivery Schedule


Due to the effects of the Covid-19 related closures to businesses and the overall impact on the hospitality industry Direct Tap will be making some service delivery changes to continue to adapt to the ever changing situation.
These changes will go into effect beginning next week.

MARCH 19, 2020 – Service Update – Bars/Pubs/Restaurants


Direct Tap remains open for deliveries and pickups.

Deliveries are currently only being made to private and government liquor stores.

As the changes to public policy have impacted Direct Tap’s business, adjustments are being made to delivery times and schedules. Announcements will be made for delivery day changes as well as a posting on this page. In the meantime, you may see delays in deliveries throughout the day, however we are currently servicing all liquor stores on their regular scheduled delivery days for the time being.
