Victoria, BC

Responsibilities & Duties

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Driver is responsible for:

  • A mixture of highway and inner-city driving in our 3, 5 or 10 tonne trucks.
  • Ensuring accuracy of all deliveries, approximately 20-30 stops in a day.
  • Correctly loading and unloading trucks
  • Working closely with cased goods and 50, 100 and 155 lbs kegs.
  • Accurately recording delivery information
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Operate the delivery truck in a safe manner at all times, obeying all rules of the road
  • Assist licensees with logistics surrounding their beer and wine keg systems
  • Swamping and warehouse work as required
  • Performing other tasks as assigned by management

Required Experience and Skills

  • Previous experience with commercial delivery driving
  • Valid class 3 driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract required
  • Airbrake training or certification an asset
  • Able to move heavy kegs with appropriate tools

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist the Drivers to load and unload their trucks correctly, working closely with cased goods and 50, 100 and 155 lbs kegs.
  • Assist the Truck Drivers to deliver the products on a pallet jack or hand truck.

Responsibilities

Reporting to General Manager, Direct Tap. The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for the following.

  • Direct oversight of the day to day operations of Vancouver, Victoria and West Kelowna distribution warehouses.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance for location managers and supervisors.
  • Maintain the operational effectiveness of the fleet and facilities.
  • Improve the operational efficiency of the Branches in a sustainable fashion.
  • Maintain a safe work environment through the improvement and enforcement of health and safety policies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies, including but not limited to NSC, CVSE, WorkSafe and Employment Standards Branch.
  • Maintain a high success rate of on time in full deliveries.
  • Appropriately manage equipment maintenance and supply purchases.
  • Employee schedule and payroll verification, approval and submission.
  • Regular delivery route reviews.
  • Thoroughly investigate issues pertaining to delivery, employee, equipment, partners, licensees and provide acceptable solutions to key stakeholders.
  • Prepare employee, equipment, cost, KPI, metrics, incident and investigation, project and optimization reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of progressive operations management experience, preferably in a Distribution/Warehouse environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Operations or a relevant field is required.
  • Ability to work within a government bonded warehouse.
  • Ability to lead and coach middle managers and front-line supervisors.
  • Ability to work with confidential information.

Responsibilities & Duties

Reporting to the Controller, the Systems Administrator is responsible for the following:

  • Manage the overall IT portfolio, including AWS, Azure, Typeform, GoDaddy, WordPress, Mailchimp, Voxter, Github, Happy Fox, Digital Ocean, KeepTruckin, Saleslitre, Slack, Sign Request, Zapier and more.
  • Manage SQL database including MySQL and Navicat Automations.
  • Manage Power BI, G-Suite and Microsoft Suite.
  • Manage remote configuration and testing
  • Identify weaknesses or shortcomings of existing systems, and research/suggest new solutions.
  • Administer, monitor and troubleshoot our order management platform, internal platforms and all other IT issues in the office, and remotely.
  • Analysis of support issues, development and continuous improvement of relevant user guides, and devise solutions to mitigate future issues.
  • Evaluate and install patches and resolve software related problems.
  • Onboard/Offboard employees timely with all required hardware and software.
  • Resolve issues and assist end-users with day to day issues.
  • Follow established guidelines for participant issue resolution and documentation.
  • Drive and manage the troubleshooting, planning and implementation of various small and large IT projects (upgrades, releases, migrations, new systems).

Shift:

12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts in a safe manner
  • Order building (products ranging from cased goods to 50, 100, 155 pound kegs)
  • Process empty kegs and breakage.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Wine Packaging Assistant is responsible for:

  • Receiving & cleaning dirty kegs according to SOPs
  • Performing quality assurance checks at regular intervals according to SOPs

  • Organize third party kegs for cleaning and shipping
