Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Supervise, guide and evaluate the performance of the Distribution Service Drivers team
  • Act as the coach for our Distribution Service Drivers
  • Provide analytical support and oversee route efficiency and truck utilization
  • Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely pickup and delivery
  • Plan and track the shipment of products according to partner and licensee requirements
  • Design new or modify existing schedules when necessary
  • Review client orders and shipment contents prior to releasing them from our warehouse
  • Track and analyze shipping errors
  • Assist in producing operating reports
  • Participate in driver retention efforts
  • Performing other tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Previous experience supervising a team is required
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management or relevant field is preferred
  • Ability to manage people and resources effectively
  • Previous route scheduling and dispatch experience is an asset
  • Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
  • Good time management skills
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to track multiple processes

Business Development Associate

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Drive sales in the Lower Mainland and throughout Western Canada using various sales methods (in-person visits, cold calling, email communication, referral, etc.)
  • Develop “out of the box” sales strategies and share learnings across the team
  • Evaluate customer’s needs and build productive long-lasting relationships
  • Meet personal and team sales targets
  • Generate and follow through on sales leads
  • Report and provide feedback to management from the field
  • Track all sales leads and contacts in CRM (Base)
  • Participate in efficiency tactics with distribution partner
  • Co-manage Kegshare social media accounts
  • Attend trade shows and events across Western Canada
  • Lead education seminars for partners and their sales reps

Distribution Service Driver

Vancouver, BC

Full Time, Permanent

Compensation

  • 18.50 – 24.00 / hour

Responsibilities and Duties

  • A mixture of highway and inner city driving
  • Ensuring accuracy of all deliveries, approximately 20-30 stops in a day.
  • Correctly loading and unloading trucks
  • Working closely with cased goods and 50, 100 and 155 lbs kegs.
  • Accurately recording delivery information
  • Provide first class customer service
  • Operate the delivery truck in a safe manner at all times, obeying all rules of the road
  • Assist licensees with logistics surrounding their beer and wine keg systems
  • Swamping and warehouse work as required
  • Performing other tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Previous experience with commercial delivery driving and routine vehicle maintenance
  • Valid class 3 or 5 driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract required
  • Airbrake training or certification an asset
  • Able to move heavy kegs with appropriate tools
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a professional, outgoing and friendly personality
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention-to-detail
  • Ability to learn new skills and processes quickly
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Interest in learning about the wine and craft beer industry and contributing to its growth
